Hi!  Welcome to LCCC.  I'm Tom McHugh,  associate professor and chairperson of the Broadcast Communications Technology, Journalism and Music Recording program.  That means that if anything goes wrong in the department you can blame me.

I'm a graduate of  the University of Scranton and have a Masters Degree in Instructional Technology from Bloomsburg University.  I've been working in the broadcasting industry for over 30 years (even though I look so young).  Prior to coming to LCCC in 1998, I was Vice President and Station Manager of WVIA-TV.  Along with teaching, I still produce audio and video projects and have won  awards  for some of my productions.

I love teaching at LCCC because I not only get to work with such great students (yes, that's you), but I  also get to share my knowledge and experience.  You know, the REAL WORLD perspective.   I know what it takes to get a job and be successful in the field.  My goal is to offer you the guidance and training that will make you successful.

It's up to you.  Work hard... Study hard... Spend time in the labs.  Experience is the best teacher.  When you graduate, you'll  have the knowledge and skills necessary to begin your new career.

GOOD LUCK!  I'm always here to help....JUST ASK.
