A rhetorical device is a way of organizing your paper for a specific purpose.  While strategies like the inductive and deductive approach give you a general organization for your paper, the rhetorical device is a way to organize the specifics.

For these rhetorical devices, you will find an explanation of the device, an example of a paper using that device, and an assignment for you complete.
