Publishing your paper refers to creating the final draft. You should produce a printed version of your paper according to the guidelines provided by your instructor. Make sure your final draft has your name and the date on it, and always look it over one last time before handing it in. In your published version, you must cite all references. Any information you use in your paper that is not your own work must come from another source, and in your final draft you must document those sources of information. The style of documentation used in the humanities is the Modern Language Association (MLA) format. There are several other formats you may need to use in other classes, but use the MLA format for this course.
