Write a topic sentence for each of the following:

during one of these processes.
Next, write up a
short paragraph instructing the reader how it occurs or how it works.
Reread the example essay for the
informational process. Note the thesis, the steps, and the transitions.
Directional Process
- Write a topic sentence for each of the following and list the steps:
| how to properly brush your teeth |
| how to make a good cup of coffee |
| how to make a delicious omelet |
List in chronological order the steps for one
of these that you need to follow to accomplish the task.
Next, write up a
short paragraph instructing the reader how to do it.
List the steps that you follow for a certain ritual
activity, such as getting ready for work, or for a date, or for getting the
children ready for day-care, or for getting ready for bed, or a job interview,
etc. Write a paragraph giving directions for this ritual activity.
