bullet All rough and final drafts of essays must be typed using Microsoft Word. This program is available on all of the computers on campus. On assigned due dates, you will submit your work both in hardcopy form (printed on paper) and on a disk. The disk you use for English 101 should contain work for this class only.
bulletWhen saving to a disk, give each draft a title which clearly identifies the content, for instance, “Descriptive Essay Draft 1.” Moreover, save each draft of the same assignment with a separate title, for instance, “Descriptive Essay Draft 1” and “Descriptive Essay Draft 2.”
bulletSave your work in more than one location. After you save to your work to a disk, save the same work again on a backup disk. This will prevent problems if a disk is lost or damaged.
bulletYou may rewrite one previously graded essay over the course of the semester to be reassessed. The final day for rewrites is Friday, December 7th
