Together, you will write an illustration essay which meets the requirements outlined in the Grading Rhetoric. Moreover, you need to work efficiently and cooperatively as a group. 

As you work, you should complete the following tasks as a group:

Brainstorm possible topics, and record our ideas on the Brainstorming Worksheet.

bullet

Choose and narrow your topic.

bullet

Write a thesis statement or pertinent question [using the deductive or inductive approach]. Record it on the Brainstorming Worksheet

bullet

List the illustrative examples to be used in the body paragraphs. Record them on the Brainstorming Worksheet

bullet

Write a first draft. Save to a disk.

bullet

Edit the first draft.

bullet

Make revisions as necessary. Save to a disk.

bullet

Proofread as necessary.

bullet

Write the final draft. Save to a disk.

 Minimum length: 5 paragraphs
