Absence of Adult Learner

The Adult Learner’s Contact Record form is to be used by practitioners to document adult learner’s absences from instructional sessions, the reason for the absence, and the anticipated returning date. The Bureau of Adult Basic and Literacy Education requires that an adult learner, who has missed two consecutive instructional sessions, be contacted.

Contacting adult learners who have missed an instructional session is vital to the program’s success and retention of our learners.
