What You Need To Know about the GED
Tests:
- The General Educational
Development (GED) Testing Service is the agency that develops
and distributes the GED test. There are currently 5 tests: Reading,
Writing, Social Studies, Science, and Math. The Writing test
includes an Essay on a topic assigned at the test. Each State sets
the scores necessary for passing the test and issues the GED
certificate to successful test takers. One in seven diplomas in the
United States is a GED diploma.
